thanks for your insight. kali key website has a section about new york but they leave the "permanent" part kind of up in the air other than suggesting filling in the bolt heads on their mount so you can't take it back off the bolt carrier.

possible that someone replaced the main spring with a reduced power one at some point? if so depending on how much it's been fired it simply might need to be replaced. post a pic of the main spring it would help identify it as a stock or aftermarket one

aero mount would go perfect with that scope. the pepr scope mount is ok but it is an old design that looks bulky with the big mounting nuts sticking out the side.

very nice I had one when they first came out. took it to the range and purposely mixed loaded it with slugs, high base and low base shot and buckshot. that thing ripped through everything no problem.
