Oh........... Leggo my eggo! That's my ammo budget!Your unallocated flashlight budget. To what ever afterlife floats your boat.
There you go, flaunting your damned AR9 again! Not all of us can be as lucky as you, you know.I’ll give props to the enhanced trigger guard. Works great on my AR9.
You coulda had an AR in 9mm. But you chose the superior cartridge, 5.56.There you go, flaunting your damned AR9 again! Not all of us can be as lucky as you, you know.

It still needs the Magpul CTR stock and the handguard covers and stops. I'll provide an updated pic when I get home and glom that and the light and sling on. I hope the M Lok stuff is not as big a PITA to install as I've heard.
I got a Blue Force Gear Vickers 2 point sling. OD Green with a foliage green pull tab, should look pretty sharp I think.
Hmnnn, Actually, just the naked uncolored hexgrip would have looked pretty tight with the handguard and stock. No way to strip the paint off?Nice looking gun. Will give you guys an update when i get the trigger, bcg, and it's safe in freedom land from the gestapo.
Also, @Podmonkey will be happy to know i changed the grip out for a magpul moe. That thing got annoying to even look at after the first day.
part of why i did it actually was cause i did not like the hex grip. it was slick plastic. i definitely could strip the paint. would probably take me about 5 minutes really. will definitely drop one of my free little rem oil bottles in there for now.Hmnnn, Actually, just the naked uncolored hexgrip would have looked pretty tight with the handguard and stock. Oh well live and learn. I really like the way the simple MOE grip feels in the hand, secure and comfy.
I get a real kick out of having the oil bottle in the grip too. I see it as a call back to the buttstock oil bottles in the old wartime bolt guns. It's like a link from the old to the new. Plus it's practical seeing as the #1 remedy for a stumbling AR is to dump a little oil in it.
Ah yeah. Of the so equipped rifles I've handled the basic (non rubber covered) MOE is nice and grippy with the little ridges and bumps without feeling rough or abrasive. Search bar is a beautiful feature rather than jumping into a pretty niche thread to ask this question. Get the cmmg one.I just bought an aero precision milspec lower, what parts kit should I get?
pretty much unless you want some ultralight titanium or something like that. as long as it's to spec.Parts is pretty much parts aint they?
I got whatever @Bullet Guy uses. I'm sure they are fine.pretty much unless you want some ultralight titanium or something like that. as long as it's to spec.
edit: cmmg is just nice for beginners because they are broken up into bags of what each piece is for.
next time i head upstate i need to stop by his shop. maybe by then he'll have some .308 lowersI got whatever @Bullet Guy uses. I'm sure they are fine.
Say hi for me.next time i head upstate i need to stop by his shop. maybe by then he'll have some .308 lowers
Oh count me out! I've blown a stupid amount of money on this project already!whaddya think it would take to get him to do a run of those???? @Bullet Guy Opinions or predictions? that logo would look badass on the side of a .308. JS
i figure by the time they're approved milled and shipped i will have recouped the costs. this build wasn't too crazy. a .308 one though....Oh count me out! I've blown a stupid amount of money on this project already!
