Good video. I like it. I would buy one if I needed one. Don't like the tools for breakdown but I think this thing doesn't really need a lot of cleaning.
As far as the magazines go, why not just buy factory Glock mags for maximum reliability? You only need to buy them once.
I was under the impression that authentic Glock Happy Sticks (33 round) were expensive and difficult to find. However after some quick research this doesn't exactly seem to be the case. I turned up a half dozen listings on Google for em with prices ranging from $30 to $40. That said the South Korean built SGM/KCI mags seem to have a good reputation and go for $15.

When it comes to magazines, I don't think it's wise to cheap out unless they are just for range use. They are part of the gun itself. For me, I wouldn't put a cheap trigger or bolt on a gun and I see magazines as being the same since once inserted they become part of the system.
Its better to have 5 good magazines than 10 okay ones. Most malfunctions are magazine related in my opinion. Just my
.3 magazines give you a hundred round load out.

A .40 just has to be in the works. And I'd bet additional magwell collar dinglefritz thingies are too, if not by Ruger then the aftermarket. Or through your friendly neighborhood 3D printer.

You do realize to swap caliber you will need a barrel too. At that point the conversion will be 3/4 of another rifle. Might as well just own 2.

I'm thinking that this will be such an overwhelming success that Ruger will have these options before June. Wouldn't surprise me a whit if the design work is already done and the CADCAM programs already sit the bank.

Yes, I do realize. I'm guessing the .40 version will be its own thing, not a conversion kit. A year after the .40 version will come the .45 version. Might see conversion kits for the 357 SIG but I kinda doubt it.

put pros and cons on both sides of the paper vs. other popular 9 mm options and
everything starts to lean quickly towards this one and just based on nr. of features.
Then add the proven PC+10/22 trigger proven reliability combo and it becomes a no brainer going this route.

My LGS said he doesn't expect to see any available (meaning that aren't already ordered for people) until at least March.
Actually that's not too bad considering that they were just introduced. Not that many years ago I used to pre-schedule guns for monthly delivery and depending on the manufacturer sometimes we wouldn't see some models for 4-6 months.
I think I will buy one of these and then I will go out and buy some really long 30 round mags to go along with it.

I love the idea of a PCC in a takedown version.

It has many desirable features don't you think? And at a reasonable price.
I also like that it takes SR mags. I have close to twenty of them ranging from 10-17 round capacity.
But you'll still swap in the Glock collar from time to time for the 33 rounders, won't you?

Reasonably priced? Yes. Good features (especially the breakdown)? Yes. Reliable? Seems so. It's Ruger. But the rifle itself is pretty boring to me TBH. I like that it comes muzzle goodies ready but that's a non issue in NY so I was just wondering if the excitement was more about it being gtg right out of the box.
