I think i will too.I think I will buy one of these and then I will go out and buy some really long 30 round mags to go along with it.

Reasonably priced? Yes. Good features (especially the breakdown)? Yes. Reliable? Seems so. It's Ruger. But the rifle itself is pretty boring to me TBH. I like that it comes muzzle goodies ready but that's a non issue in NY so I was just wondering if the excitement was more about it being gtg right out of the box.
For me it would mean the inability or severely limited options when they do become available to change the stock and rails. Not try to start anything! Could you explain what you mean by boring?

Ruger's fuddness is also unappealing to me. With that said for a rifle that's 100 percent legal and can be taken outside with no worries, it's a good option for New Yorkers.
For someone in a free state like @Podmonkey , there are much better options. Like a 9mm AR pistol for instance with a folding arm brace that looks and acts as a stock with a 10.5 inch barrel for one that takes Glock magazines that also doesn't need tools to disassemble and triggers, stocks, rails, grips, ect have the ability to be swapped. Hell, even a binary trigger can be added.
I have nothing against fudd firearms. I just don't like them. That's just me. Not the whole of America.I believe the sales of this rifle even in free States may prove you wrong! And one thing to remember as much as some bash them, there are a whole lot more Fudds buying firearms then those who buy Tactical type firearms!
As I said before, "If I was in the market for a PCC, being in NY I would buy one." No. It doesn't have to look like that although I would prefer one like that because that's what I'm used to. My first long gun was an issued M16A2. Pops was only a pistol guy so I never got to fire a long gun until I enlisted. So if a gun doesn't look like this:

It's automatically a fudd gun?! Jeepers creepers, I think some of you have FUAC on the brain or something.
The thing is all black, has a short barrel with threaded muzzle, takes detachable mags and is chamber in a caliber with limited utility for hunting. How the he'll does all that add up to a fudd gun? Just because it lacks a pistol grip?
I tell you this: I do live in a free state but I still like the than better than most any other PCC, ugly as it is. Still like the Berretta CX4 also though.
It's just nothing special in my opinion. It's like a 10/22 in a larger caliber. And we know how common those are. I like the sub2k better. It folds so you there is no possibility of losing either half. You can put all the tacticool stuff on it you want and is over 2 pounds lighter and $150 less. Oh and it takes more types of mags. Not try to start anything! Could you explain what you mean by boring?

ETA: I think it looks better too.
If it breaks. And before then yes. No possibility. How much testing have you done on the PCC to definitively say it's way better?LMAO no possibility of losing either 1/2 of a sub 2k???? How about when the crappy plastic hinge breaks. This thing is hands down night and day above a sub2k.

I don't need to do any authentic testing to say the Ruger is 100% a better quality firearm!
If you say so. That's the gen 1 by the way. The gen 2 has improved many things. So I guess the bottom half of glocks are inferior because it's plastic. I'd get a sub2k over the ruger given the choice in OD green like in this video.
Tacticooled out
Still cheap plastic screwed together. Some weird mount to be able to use a red dot. Still plastic hinges. Oh yea and a string to keep the bolt held back that comes with it HAHAHAHA.
I cant believe you compared it to a glock or other quality polymer pistols.
You're the one who said it's crap because it's plastic. Glocks are also made of plastic. Let's face it. It's crap to you simply because it's a keltec. The fact that you don't any "any authentic testing" says it all. If it's keltec it's automatically a bad firearm. That's all you needed to say.
Lets see your "Authentic" testing big man.
It's not crap because its plastic. It's crap because components that shouldn't be plastic are plastic. It's a novelty not made for real world use.
I'm not the one claiming one is superior to the other. The person making the claim needs to back it up. I simply said I prefer one over the other and you started jabbering on about how one is extremely superior to the other. Without even laying hands on either I might add. And how do you determine what parts should and shouldn't be plastic? The parts that are plastic are designed that way and clearly work. And I guess the sub2k is a ghost gun as it exists in another dimension and the people who use them are aberrations. "Real world use" lol. How cute.
Bill Ruger is dead.Quotes from Bill Ruger himself.
No honest man needs more than 10 rounds in any gun." -Bill Ruger
"I never meant for simple civilians to have my 20 or 30 round mags or my folding stock." -Bill Ruger
“The best way to address the firepower concern is therefore not to try to outlaw or license many millions of older and perfectly legitimate firearms (which would be a licensing effort of staggering proportions) but to prohibit the possession of high capacity magazines.
By a simple, complete, and unequivocal ban on large capacity magazines, all the difficulty of defining 'assault rifles' and 'semi-automatic rifles' is eliminated. The large capacity magazine itself, separate or attached to the firearm, becomes the prohibited item.
A single amendment to Federal firearms laws could prohibit their possession or sale and would effectively implement these objectives.” -From the Congressional Record, an excerpt from the March 30, 1989 letter Bill Ruger sent to every member of Congress
So what? Gaston Glock is dead too. So is Sam Colt.Bill Ruger is dead.
Just that if your beef with the company Ruger is based on Bill, Bill's dead and it's a different company now and I think they have been showing that.So what? Gaston Glock is dead too. So is Sam Colt.

But the denouncing of his idiotic drivel still lives.Bill Ruger is dead.
That's a bit of a weak response.Just that if your beef with the company Ruger is based on Bill, Bill's dead and it's a different company now and I think they have been showing that.
