It’s a good time. I plan on being there but I might be getting a new job soooooo i might not be able to attend. Pretty sure if I do get a job I won’t attend pine city, pathfinders is a possibility for me.
As much as I really like pine city I plan on joining (keep dragging my feet) Sullivan trail rod and gun club

These are my first Keens, and so far, I like them. They're comfortable and didn't need to break in. I hope they hold up.
My last one were Merrels. They started splitting seams after about 10 months.

I got the Detroit XTs. Looks like the exact same boot, just with a safety toe. The old boots were Danner Vicious. They didn't hold up too well either, bought them the winter before last.
Nothing special but I finally ran out of #9 figured I'd try something different.
Was looking for ballistol but they didnt have any and figured well this will work.

Agreed, I use it as a rough wash em up type thing and a light coat anti-rust on guns I have out more than others (i.e. I'm not socking these guns away for long term storage).

So no pics (sue me), I ordered an upgraded trigger spring and bushings from MCARBO for my Remington 597 along with three higher power magazine springs for the same rifle...Everything was a pain in the ass to install, lol.
So far I'm not sure on the trigger spring. I had previously installed the Volquartzen hammer with the original spring and bushings. It seemed to enhance the trigger pull (not that the trigger was bad to begin with). With the new spring and bushings added to the mix, I'm actually not so sure. The trigger has a solid wall with no take up. I am just not sure that wall is broken so lightly. It's crisp make no mistake, but I wasn't like "holy crap" that's smooth and a huge improvement. I guess I will have to take it to the range and try it.
