It really does make a nice tight little shotgun package. 14" barrel + 13½" LOP + 10 rounds of Challenger short shells in the tube = 33" of highly maneuverable 12g firepower.

Awesome! Thanks for posting those. I had checked the other day and there were only a couple sets with buttstock and forend and they were going for $150+
It's a bummer that they aren't buy it now, though they would probably be gone already, lol.

Installed a Maverick 88 trigger assembly, (cross bolt safety as opposed to a receiver safety), and also added a gold Mossberg trigger!

So I won this one :Mossberg 500 action bar 12 gauge | eBay would have won the other except I was camping this weekend and didn't bid because I wasn't sure I'd have wifi. I could have won it for less but I didn't want to win and then not be able to pay for it until a few days later. I like to pay for things I bid on and win, right away. I have the stock adapter installed I now need to order a AR buffer tube and source a wooden pistol grip. I don't want to completely copy @Sixbennetts design, but it will be close. His project is truly awesome on so many levels. It needs to be emulated as a matter of praise.

Wow, I'm honored! It really is a nice, tight shotgun-like package. I've done my share of door kicking in my youth, and I wish I had something like this back then.
The hard part will be settling on a grip, and finding one for less than $100. Give Gene a call at Blackgunswood.com. Nice guy, and what he sent me fit the stock adapter perfectly. I only to fit the external surface of the grip. The machining and screw hole were perfect.
Another route would be an adapter that lets you attach 1911 grip scales to an AR. Or a Thompson style grip.

Many older non electronic paintball guns use standard M16 pistol grips.
For $25ish you can get an aluminum grip that accepts full sized 1911 panels and wrap arounds.
I've had Hogues for years.
Search for CCI Phantom 45 .
There is currently one on Ebay under "Phantom 45 grip block "
We used to be able to buy them directly from CCI in a variety of colors. @ phantomonline.com
