In denying the application to vacate the 2nd circuits stay, SCOTUS emphasized their desire to follow the normal procedures....that obviously applies here. There's no way they step in on this...we all would love to see that but its not gonna happen.

NYS thinks that they are playing it smart and trying to be strategic. They will delay everything until the summertime heat gets here and things will start to spiral out-of-control. We are caught in the middle with no way out unless things spill over into the streets.

Ok, while this all crawls along, nothing is being done about the other crap that is coming along. Background (ammo) checks due soon, have heard nothing, if NY cannot do them in April does that mean no ammo sales? Suppsedly there were other lawsuits coming but other groups were waiting to see where the suit against the CCIA went.

Then you have the other states coming out against semiautos. It needs to stop.

I would think if the ammo background check system isn’t up and running they will continue as is until it is.

What will stop sales is wanting to keep the federal and state license that is needed to do so in the first place. Kind of like keeping a CC. And wanting to continue to sell guns.....I don't assume ANYTHING with this state. Example, I never thought I would need to put up a sign saying it is OK to CC. Isn't that the point of CC? Just trying to prepare.......

Neither did I.

It bothers me to have that sign, because it is like a symbol that I am a gun owner and like gun owners.

I just like to stay gray with guns.

Might as well tattoo my pistol permit number printed on my forehead like a damn Jew. :(

I have to rescind what I said about being hopeful about the second circuit. One trump judge, one bush and one Clinton. The Bush judge was the author of the decision that got overturned in Bruen. He actually wrote the opinion that upheld New York’s carry law. The trump judge says he’s an originalist studied Scalia. I’m confused why the decision to stay Suddaby’s ruling was unanimous if that was the case.

SCOTUS may be bending, but wait for the test case... as long as the person who gets jammed up, on this situation entirely on it's merits alone, has the balls to take it to the limits an does not SETTLE so the State does not have the case before a court!

Then and only then, it appears when a defendant has standing, will the case be taken by the SCOTUS. So the game will be the State, twittling around, skirting the issue and dancing the dance they've danced for a 100 years! But make no mistake about it, they don't give s hit about you, so why are you worried about them?

The Big Bad Wolf that never comes... Concealed is concealed period as it is better to HAVE and not need it, then NEED it and not have it! Defense, as in previous SCOTUS ruling(s) is also a Right, I would love to see how the State prescribes personal safety when LE is just a few minutes away!


Anyways... Do what you Do... Enjoy life, and don't think it needs to be lived by permission!

Oh right, permission from the Government to make use of a privilege that they can revoke at will, or spoon feed us as they see fit in the rare circumstances they allow us to live our lives under their benevolent rule.

That's what you get with permission slips.

I am not happy with any of this and since I try to comply because it is a federal and state license that I carry to sell.... Until we can move it seems like that is about as much as I can thumb my nose at the garbage, putting a few more guns out there.

If anyone notice the SC also turned down the suit brought by several gun stores asking for emergency relief.

It's disgusting that the SC will put the 2nd Circus before the People.
The SC said they want the 2nd Circus, well known for its unConstitutional rulings, to have a chance to do their jobs. A job they have screwed up for decades, remember, before the SC will even look at the issue. in the mean time the Rights of ALL Americans in NYS are lost.

This does not bode well to me.

It's time we jump on board with the leftist's demands to suspend the Constitution. After all, without the constitution the leftists don't even have the pretense of authority. And all laws are nothing more than demands enforced at gunpoint.
