A question i have, was it legal for the guy to be carrying a firearm in a place that serves alcohol ??? Wouldn`t that be a felony charge ???

I wouldn`t be surprised if hochul will try to find a way to charge the guy. After all, she has to protect her unconstitutional gun laws.
If she doesn`t do anything, its going to make her look bad to her crazies.

Salt, it pains me to say this, because most of us want to help others, at least i use to, that`s just who we are. BUT, we are now at those times where we can`t help strangers anymore, because it drags us into it far to deep now and there is a hell of a price to pay for it. If people can`t protect themselves, that is not your problem. Yes, it sucks, but everybody has the option to carry a legal weapon of some sort to defend themselves. We are not safe from anything anymore. I believe today, its best NOT to put that target on YOUR own back. Let law enforcement deal with it, it is, their job, not ours. The days of good samaritans, well, that`s pretty much in the past. The ONLY time i will offer any type of help today, is if i come across a motor vehicle accident, in which i am by law, to stop and help where i can be of assistance, and even then, my situational awareness is always, eye`s an ears wide open.

All this craziness, all falls at the front door of hochul. She is the one who is responsible. And by god, she needs to be held accountable!

They may try to strong arm him in to pleaing it down to the lowest charge where he would lose all his gun rights. If so I just hope he is smart enough to say no and call to get on the lawsuit.

If the SC ignores it, which is what i think they will do, that will tell us everything we assumed about the SC. Just playing games with us.

And, i don`t put alot of faith into Armed Scholars channel anyway. Seems to use alot of click bait.

Mark Smith`s channel, The Four Boxes Diner is the better channel, but both channels babble alot.

In denying the application to vacate the 2nd circuits stay, SCOTUS emphasized their desire to follow the normal procedures....that obviously applies here. There's no way they step in on this...we all would love to see that but its not gonna happen.

NYS thinks that they are playing it smart and trying to be strategic. They will delay everything until the summertime heat gets here and things will start to spiral out-of-control. We are caught in the middle with no way out unless things spill over into the streets.

Ok, while this all crawls along, nothing is being done about the other crap that is coming along. Background (ammo) checks due soon, have heard nothing, if NY cannot do them in April does that mean no ammo sales? Suppsedly there were other lawsuits coming but other groups were waiting to see where the suit against the CCIA went.

Then you have the other states coming out against semiautos. It needs to stop.

I would think if the ammo background check system isn’t up and running they will continue as is until it is.

What will stop sales is wanting to keep the federal and state license that is needed to do so in the first place. Kind of like keeping a CC. And wanting to continue to sell guns.....I don't assume ANYTHING with this state. Example, I never thought I would need to put up a sign saying it is OK to CC. Isn't that the point of CC? Just trying to prepare.......

Neither did I.

It bothers me to have that sign, because it is like a symbol that I am a gun owner and like gun owners.

I just like to stay gray with guns.

Might as well tattoo my pistol permit number printed on my forehead like a damn Jew. :(

I have to rescind what I said about being hopeful about the second circuit. One trump judge, one bush and one Clinton. The Bush judge was the author of the decision that got overturned in Bruen. He actually wrote the opinion that upheld New York’s carry law. The trump judge says he’s an originalist studied Scalia. I’m confused why the decision to stay Suddaby’s ruling was unanimous if that was the case.

SCOTUS may be bending, but wait for the test case... as long as the person who gets jammed up, on this situation entirely on it's merits alone, has the balls to take it to the limits an does not SETTLE so the State does not have the case before a court!

Then and only then, it appears when a defendant has standing, will the case be taken by the SCOTUS. So the game will be the State, twittling around, skirting the issue and dancing the dance they've danced for a 100 years! But make no mistake about it, they don't give s hit about you, so why are you worried about them?

The Big Bad Wolf that never comes... Concealed is concealed period as it is better to HAVE and not need it, then NEED it and not have it! Defense, as in previous SCOTUS ruling(s) is also a Right, I would love to see how the State prescribes personal safety when LE is just a few minutes away!


Anyways... Do what you Do... Enjoy life, and don't think it needs to be lived by permission!
