Now that we are into the winter clothing season I am switching from the Shield to this:

Only problem is even though the DeSantis is a very nice quality holster it prints horribly under everything other than my Carhartt. And it rides too low so that any upward movement of my arm exposes it. I'm thinking of getting a higher riding kydex holster like a Bravo Concealment and see if that works any better. Or I might just go with a shoulder rig.

709 slim is a very good choice, very good pistol, very underrated. My occasional carry is LC9S. My favorite HD M&P9C had to sell it here recently will replace with HK P30SKV3 which will also be an occasional carry piece.

Same. I love my 709 I've put it thru hell and never even a hiccup. Love the gun, that and a spare mag, along with the rest of my EDC set up

For myself I carry a Glock 30 when I have loose pants on, or sometimes a Kimber Custom Stainless Target. When the pants are on the tighter side I have a Bersa Thunder 380 CC. All go into Alien Gear holsters, the Bersa in a cloak tuck 2, and the larger slides in the standard leather models. I like bucket holsters too, but they have to be really stiff, I don't trust the softer/thinner leather stuff.
