I belive its cotton. Bought the cloths at a gun show, they are yellow and I sprayed silicone on them myself to wipe down guns.I did not wipe down these guns with the matte black finish. The guns just got laid against the cloths.
I have both Wildcat & Xpert 22 rifles.Have have had them leaning against hutch and had a silicone treated cloth between guns and hutch.Been there a few months went look at them today and both had rust on bbls where they contacted cloth. Bbls are matte finish. Chemical reaction???
I just got lucky enough to purchase on Gun Broker a couple of boxes of Remington Express 16 Gauge loaded with factory #12 shot. The boxes are green and yellow and are marked 16 SP12.I was told they were probably from late sixties. These are a nice addition to my ammo collection, since the smallest...
I spoke to 2 locksmiths y phone. They both informed me it was impossile to make a key for a lock if they didn,t have the original key WHAT THE FUCK apparently all the old craftsmen are pushing daiseies.
I acquired one of these recently. It has a key lock similar to a drawer or cabinet located in grip directly behind the trigger guard. When it is used it blocks the trigger so it can not be fired. My problem is no key. Luckily it is not in the unfire position. I don,t really know how to remove lock...
just wondering if any members out there ever purchased one of these 9 volt battery ignited 700s made in 2003 and 2004.They were chambered in 243,22-250,and 220 Swift.I collect ammo and acquired some ammo for these..I,m a little surprised how many of my gun buddies never heard of them.I must be...
I have a 44 rimfire,I also tried very hard to purchase a rolling block in 50-70,I believe it was made for NY Militia had bayonet and was in excellent shape,my pockets were too shallow!
All these so called gun buy backs, aren,t these the same as allowing a straw purchase of your gun?Who the hell is doing a background check and who the hell is that gun being specificlly transfered to? If you were to allow a (buyback) of a gun that you legally purchased after the Safe Act and did...
yes, that looks like a model 76 trail rider.I got one that I had problems with and gunsmith years ago said they were a nighmare and I never did get it fixed. These things bring pretty good money IF they work.
Curious what it cost. I bought 2 brown nylon 66,s a few years ago. They were purchased new in 1989 and still in box with a Tasco 4 power scope. I paid a grand for the pair.I was happy!
I always suggest to my buddies that got kids,DON't buy a 410,it will cost way too much to shoot, get a 20 gauge.Cheaper to shoot and they will probably hit more with it.
