it's unfortunate, but you are right. People with ill-intent will force more restrictions and regulations than there already are. The technology in them and what's involved with flying them is really interesting and it can be a great learning instruments for kids to learn about weather...
Machine gun-toting drone threatens to change combat forever
I recently got into flying a drone because a friend of mine is into it. It's a lot of fun. The last few weeks I haven't had much time or interest. Maybe it was a phase. Although I'd like to think I'll get out and fly it again. Now I'm...
so my cousin said to look into Shiloh Gernan Shepherds. They're bred to be smarter and bigger. Great looking dogs. He referred BelleGrace Shiloh Shephards in P.A. BelleGrace Shiloh Shepherds – Breeding for Beauty, Elegance, Sound Body & Temperament
I'll ask around..my cousin use to own a pet store ( a good one ) and may have some contacts. My neighbor has a 1-2 year old Husky (female) that they'd like to put up for adoption if anyone is interested. Beautiful dog, but too much for them. They jumped right into dog ownership with a Husky and...
well that's when I remember it from...actually before that...like 1996-2000 when my sister was at SU...we use to go there all the time...there and the spaghetti warehouse..loved those places back then.
my co-worker just sent me a link to a "featureless" rifle featuring that Thordsen stock. Dark Storm DS-15 Typhoon Featureless 5.56 Rifle Black DS15-TYP-FL5-BLK
thanks for the feedback so far. gun.deals does have some decent deals on there. That makes it easier to decide. Maybe I should just spend less for my first one to get my feet wet and practice? I'm torn...I feel like I should take advantage of my friend's knowledge and have him help me build one.
I'm interested in getting an AR style rifle. I've fired a few over the years..from a stock Colt to a Troy Defense more recently. I am not experienced enough to know which would be good to start with...style, caliber, etc. There are way too many brands and options, so I'm relying on you guys that...
Listen, let's face it. If someone wants anything bad enough, they will get it. A safe like these is really just a deterrent but it's not the end all be all. No, I don't want my guns and valuables stolen, but there's also a safety aspect, and a fire protection aspect. The bottom video is a joke...
I have it on an interior wall and on top of a 2" holed mat, so it's not directly on the concrete. I have a low ceiling, so I couldn't put it on top of much more. It's a 5' high safe. Luckily, the basement doesn't flood and I think a few inches is sufficient off the slab.
I actually had bought a GoldenRod but returned it. I didn't want to have to run wires inside of the safe plus an extension cord to get it over to the safe. I think I will be fine with my dehumidifier. My basement has central air.
sound advice, thanks! I invested in a decent dehumidifer and have it a couple feet away from the safe. It's on a low setting and it has port to attach a hose which I can feel to my trap or I can just empty the bucket when the light is blinking full. I'm keeping it at around 40-50% humidity for...
I ended up putting the big boy in the basement. Had to take the fire door off the hinges to get it into the basement. It was such a tight fit that you couldn't have put a piece of paper between the door jam and the safe. Then I maneuvered it to the back of the basement around multiple corners...
great info thanks. A friend told me we would have to get to Calverton early and line up for when the gate open. I like that the spot is yours for the day though. Calverton does offer trap shooting, if you throw your own. I don't mind though as I have a thrower and a box of clays that have been...
Couple of people I know are thinking of heading out to this range this Summer.
Calverton Shooting Range - Home
Has anyone shot here? Can you tell me anything helpful? The website is very basic. Looking to hear stories good or bad.
we've got two very small dogs. The youngest one is 9 and he's more alert and hyper than most puppies. If i get up in the middle of the night, he's already awake at the end of the bed. He sits up and tells me someone is coming sometimes minutes before I hear or see something. His hearing is...
Congrats! Half the sh*t the people in the clerks office say doesn't apply or doesn't make sense. They don't know what they're talking about. They're paper shufflers. I once emailed the pistol permit division at ... CC-PistolPermits@WestchesterGov.com.... to get some clarification about carrying...
I've had my eye on the Para 2 (dig camo with black blade) the Para 3, and that sexy Yojimbo. They're all a little more than I'm use to spending on my blades, but I may just treat myself for when I have to put on a suit. It'll be nice to have a "shelf queen" for those days. If any of yas own any...
the Tenacious is affordable and durable knife. It's a little heavier than the other spydercos that I've carried over the years, but it can take a beatin.
Great gift. A friend of mine got something like that when we were around that age, maybe slightly older, and we were playing some game across the street in the playground. One of our other friends got a hold of it and from about 15' away he shot it towards my friend he took it from hitting him...
