The SCOTUS opinion was not delivered until 2010.
That opinion is that the 2A has applied to the states since at least 1868.
A law that is ruled unconstitutional doesn’t become unconstitutional when the ruling is handed down. It was *always* unconstitutional.
Someone solely convicted of a law that was later overturned on constitutional grounds can have their conviction vacated, even decades later.

The argument can be made that it wasn't intended to apply to the states before the 14th was ratified. After? Not possible.
The 14th makes no provisions and grants no authority for future courts to selectively incorporate anything in the BOR to the states.
It and of itself was the sole means of applying the BOR to the states - That's why it was ratified.

But that still needs to go though the Courts! Just as all these gun laws need to go though the Courts and be ruled unconstitutional.

I believe he would sign it if it ends up on his desk, but honestly I don't expect him to push Congress for it. That still doesn't change how I will vote because of all the other great aspects of what he is doing.

this is absolutely the position we are in NY and many other similar states. No matter how 90% (just throwing arbitrary number out there) of the counties vote, it is nullified by a handful of metro areas. The reality is that the majority of voters in these metro areas will vote for the Biden/Harris ticket even if they were on every social media feed nightly with Harris holding down a juvenile, handicapable, disadvantaged, gay, ethnic minority while Biden skull fucked them while alternating reading passages from Mein Kampf and Chairman Mao’s Little Red Book.

For a max rounds, 50 state legal edc.
Id suggest trying and shooting both
(Example Walther PPQ vs G19) but if the p365 can shoot well for you then I'd say that over the 48.
But thats if deep concealment is your thing.
Otherwise G48 would be just like carrying your g19 just slightly different (and actually you could stock up on Shield Arms 15rounders..... now you have a 50 state capacity legal gun but can run 10 or 15+ rounders)
So now my vote is to the g48 to stay with the same manual of arms as your current gun and same grip
