I like Sportsman's. Went on Monday and stocked up on some 30-06.
I considered getting into other calibers too. For some reason they never seem to run out of .243...
Don't blame the police on this one. They have to respond, depending on what they were told. From what I've read on the situation, the cops were cool in their response to the family. Feel free to substitute though. Instead of the police, how about those nosey @$$ other parents!
Does this mean that as long as it's not assembled you're fine? Is that just for pistols or for rifles too? If that's true, someone could have a not-so-NYSAFE rifle and just separate the upper from the lower until they're ready to fire.
It's too bad. The companies could pay off the new manufacturing overhead within a month if they start today. The other two months would be gravy. Just hire some temps and give us more ammo!
So, let me get this straight. Each police department is supposed to submit a plan for how they will improve race relations?
BWAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
What's that supposed to accomplish?
I see Bart Simpson writing on the board, "
I will not kill black people.
I will not kill black people.
I...
Absolutely right! Big business is not concerned with doing the right thing. It does what is profitable. That's why there had to be child labor laws and rules about insider trading. It's also why "American" companies do so much manufacturing in other countries. Right now, corporations are...
I enjoy being able to reload without extra steps. I also like being able to go home with my rifle if ever I'm confronted by law enforcement. If you're accustomed to rifles, Thorsden stock is not an issue.
You are quite correct sir! Adolf Hitler was democratically elected to office before chipping away at the people's powers. The media then became part of the propaganda machine.
Just to clarify, when you said shoot the bastards did you mean shoot the oppressors or shoot the neighbors?
Blimey is correct. Membership runs from June to June, and they do prorate the membership fee based on number of months left until the next June. For less than $350, I signed up for the indoor (rimfire and handgun) and outdoor (rifle) ranges for a year. Based on other range's hourly prices...
There is a law of dynamic opposites. When the pendulum swings in favor of one side, it eventually swings in favor of the other side. Just watch your head as it swings by!
Love shooting at GCL. Great folks up there. The 200 yard rifle range does have a sitting station, a prone, and an offhand station as well. You can shoot from 25 to 200 yards in increments. Best money I've spent this year (other than ammo)!
I am an AR shooter as well. Nobody seems to mind.
I would be okay with back to back terms only because people generally suck at their job at first. Two terms gives them a chance to do a good job, then they can leave.
Allow me to say that shooting at these fish at 200, I might as well have been blindfolded. I just aimed for the white rectangle and tried to spread the hits around.
I agree with the original intent. I just don't have a lot of faith in most of the common people I see around me. There is no interest in finding out how things work or how they can be changed. Most just want to complain based on the third (4th, 5th) party information they got in their social...
I like the thought. Senate would have to be 12 years to be two terms. I would probably say no more than two terms in any one position. That way an ex senator that becomes president could still run for reelection. This idea of career politicians has to end, but for that to happen, more people...
The acceleration is sickening. If the presidents feel like they can sidestep congress whenever they don't agree, there will soon be no purpose in a congress and we will have dictatorship. The latest executive order claims powers expressly given to congress. Even if people agree with what he's...
Maybe it's just me, or maybe because I have the time to watch right now. Maybe it's because everything is reported in real time. It just seems that executives are more emboldened--almost frivolous--in issuing order after order. The concern has always been that there are no checks on this...
At both the state and federal level, the executive branch keeps sidestepping the constitution by issuing executive orders instead of letting laws be written by the congress. If we keep letting this happen, we will end up without the inalienable rights that were written into the Constitution...
