It is a takedown, the barrel/magazine tube comes off as a complete assembly.
I SUPPOSE you could purchase other assemblies from people but that would be a tough row to hoe.
I love the shotgun, such a classic and in hardly used condition, it's not even broken in, and for a 1947 manufacture...
The Winchester Model 12, 16 gauge I purchased from your gf is bone stock.
I occasionally entertain the thought of sending it to Briley and have choke tubes installed. They have a package deal that includes your choice of 3 diff choke tubes constrictions.
It would ruin collector value, of...
I have a Benelli Montefeltro 20 gauge, 26" barrel, 5-1/2 lbs light. I also purchased the 24" accessory barrel. Shotguns have always been my fave shooting discipline. I've owned many many firearms over the years. To date it is the finest shotgun I've ever owned. Best $1k I ever spent. God...
Man, I tell ya, God's honest. I always thought the USCG was great duty. More than once I wish I had joined that instead of the Army.
For anything but rescue diver.
My father served 26 years in the US Navy, thru Korea and Viet Nam. Combat veteran.. Back when the Marines and Sailors had a...
At first we had 4 door Chevelles with 350s under the hood. During the gas crunch of '79 they took those away and gave us 4 door Mavericks with straight 6s under the hood.
So bad every time you turned on the lights and siren the battery light came on.
Where I live and under average atmospheric conditions Mach 1 is about 1105 fps, so when I shoot .22 shorts sometimes there is the 'crack' as the round goes off, sometimes there isnt
TruLock had a Black Friday deal for the Thanksgiving 4 day weekend...
4 new TruLock Precision Hunter choke tubes for my Benelli Monte 20 gauge
25% off (i.e. buy 3 get 1 free), in my case a $46.99 value; $50+ order, free choke tube case ( 6 tube = $10.99 value), $100+ order = free shipping...
Never owned one, but have 2 Ruger Single-Action revolvers, a Single-Nine and a Super Blackhawk, and have owned numerous others
Looked at the LCRx many times my own self, for a belly gun. Truthfully, I wouldn't hesitate if that's what I was in the market for
We were issued 1911s (served Regular Army as MP 1978-1981). Loved the pistol but talk about heavy and awkward as a sidearm, in a belt holster, not to mention snagged the seat every time you got in your patrol vehicle.
I realize it's a bit large for a EDC gun outside your vehicle and home/property, but it's doable in a vertical shoulder holster, open carry and in your vehicle.
I wear an XL glove, and the Beretta fits me great and feels great in hand.
No mag restrictions in KY, except for hunting (10 rounds).
Title says it all.
Personally I think it's a real nice handgun for a reasonable price, yet I very rarely hear it mentioned on the forum.
I was strongly considering one when I move to KY this Spring/Summer.
Talk to me.
To that I say....
If you ever drop off a nice buck at a taxidermist, report it. I personally know 2 taxidermist, old friends. The DEC stops in their establishments regularly, and checks the tags to see if they've been reported. If over 7 days and nope, bye bye rack, and prepare for a knock on...
As @1075tech stated, I'd blaze a trail by hand if I had to, or with tractor and brush hog, which allowed quieter access to your stand.
I'd hunt the brushy area of the creek any day. Find an elevated spot against a good sized tree. With some snow you'll be in like Flynn. Anything that moves is...
I want the same thing to happen in 2024.
I want to see Trump step up to the podium, and the first words I wanna hear out of his mouth to be..."Now, where were we"...
What I do in cases like that, is start putting all those thoughts on paper.
Rather than haul them all out, review your inventory and just write down what you have, and put into a group, i.e. Heirlooms etc.
You can prob come up with a disposable list real quick
Well let's see. When I purchased the shotgun I purchased from @VetTechCherrybomb the fee was $35 (not local).
I ordered a shotgun from Buds and picked up local $25
Thank you so much, to all of you who voted Yes to a "Right to Clean Air and Water" Constitutional Amendment in NYS. I don't want to hear a peep out of you.
