Ruger 10/22, the aftermarket alone makes it worthwhile. It's entirely possible to build a 10/22 without a single ruger part if you want. I've been meaning to get a 10/22 take down for a while now.

Ive got a Saiga, it works. When i get around to installing a bullet ramp it will take ak mags. I need to find a gunsmith willing to do the drilling required to remove the trigger so I can replace the full paddle safety. Its not the most accurate thing but it does its job.

The safety on my saiga does not rotate up and out. It has the full paddle on the selector. I bought a krebs ambi safety to replace it with but im not sure how to go about getting the original safety out.
