I just got a Ruger lcr in 357. I love it, the trigger is great. I've only shot 38 special so far, but the recoil is totally fine. I was hitting 8" plates from just over 15 yards away, which I was impressed with, as I would still consider myself a novice shooter.
I don't think 357 will be that...
I just bought a Ruger lcr. I've tried both a smith and a Ruger, and the ruger's trigger just feels smoother. It also seems like I'm reading about more problems with SW of late but maybe that's just me.
Anyone else thinking that this is staged to an extent? Im thinking this is the excuse that'll be used to usher in CBDC's.
I'm not saying that an event like this didn't need to happen, but I'm sure the big players knew that the banks were all fucked, so they might as well control the collapse of...
Yea, I thought this was not true, but then why do I keep hearing people say stuff like this? One guy told me that he was going to stay at 4 handguns because he was afraid that once he has 5 that he could possibly be inspected to make sure he's safely storing them. That guy lived in Westchester...
Is there a limit to how many handguns I can own in New York? I'm almost positive the answer is no (I'm sure if this were the case I would've read you guys talking about it here) yet I keep hearing people bringing this topic up. I've heard 3 different people bring this up now. Maybe they're...
Pretty self explanatory- are Henry axes still legal? If they are, are most new York stores scared to sell them because of the current climate?
Thanks all
That's a good question, I almost exclusively shoot by myself, so I have no idea where I'm at skill wise. I'll have to post a picture of the target I shot at last week. At 7 yards most of my shots were within the size of my fist, and that was with my very tough DA .22 revolver trigger. I think my...
Gold and silver are being heavily manipulated to the downside. IIRC JP Morgan had to pay out $900 million because of their spoofing the markets, and there's another precious metals trial going on right now. Yes, goldbugs have been calling for a moon for 2 decades now, but if SHTF really does...
Do any of you buy a 2nd pistol before the amendment for your previous purchase goes through? I'd like to get what I want sooner rather than later, and don't want to wait 6 weeks per purchase...
Yea once it's time to file the rakers I'll just take it in to my repair guy. It's dangerous to use a poorly sharpened chain. I'm sure it's easy to actually learn how to do it well, but I have 100 other things to take care of and it's not worth my time to learn how to do it properly
So uh... Anyone mind helping me out here? I just got my permit and bought a gun over at Davis. I have to send in my amendment form now, right, before anything else happens? For some reason I thought I did all this stuff when I picked it up the second time... Sorry I'm new to all this. Would it...
I'm sorry, maybe you already said this, but do you mean it's been x amount of days since you did everything you had to do on your end, or x amount of days since you started the process?
When did the comebacks get to be so short? Did Mayweather start this? A comeback has to be after at least 1.5 years off. Anything shorter than that is a break or a sabbatical. It's not a real retirement
So my final interview at the orange county sheriff's office is in a couple weeks. They said it was just a quick run through of my info I submitted. Is that true? It seems kind of unnecessary if that's actually the case.
Also, after that what happens? They send my info over to a judge, right? I...
So I went to Middletown's show today. Wasn't that bad! I was expecting it to be terrible going by all the reviews of shows in general online.
I wouldn't say there were any deals but it was fun to see all the oddball stuff. My favorite part was talking to the guy who customizes 10/22s. Those...

In stock alert for the marinecote. These will be gone by the end of the day btw. I'd get one myself but I just picked...
Commodities experts like Rick rule are saying that there's going to be a copper shortage in the near future. Not only that, but the average copper mine currently in production is nearing the end of its life cycle, new mines take about 5-10 years before production ramps up, and most of the best...
I went to Zulu airsoft in orange county last week. I had a lot of fun, and it definitely helps in some ways. You sure get a lot of experience dealing with chaos, which is nice.
I'm not immune to this either. I paid almost $500 for my shockwave during the height of the panic buying. Not my proudest moment.
There's probably some good flipping opportunities up ahead for a savvy person with some extra cash on hand.
Anyone stockpiling gold/silver? I think either way this is a wise move. Either (A) things get better and funny money fiat takes a back seat to something more tangible and less manipulatable, or (B) the great reset happens and the only way to escape insane taxation is through barter and trading...
I like listening to Jay dyer. He talks about social engineering, mk ultra, etc. In a few podcasts he's talked about how the globalists/social engineers have stated in books that they can get more of their agenda pushed during 5 years of war/famine/catastrophe than in an entire peaceful...
I feel like the entire world is going to look completely different by Christmas. How does something big NOT happen now, which then sets off a ton of other things like a domino effect?
When does all this stuff start getting enforced? What's going to happen then? I work at a food distribution...
Yea I mentioned this in another thread- now is the time to buy ammo if you need it. I doubt things are going to drop any further than they are now, and it really feels like something destabilizing is coming. Biden ordering everyone to be vaccinated seems very possible and that could be the trigger.
I keep my seeds in an airtight container with some desiccant packets thrown in just in case. But if you're keeping your seeds in a dry area to begin with you probably don't need to take that extra step.
What you do need to do is protect your seeds from mice/squirrels/rodents. I've lost a couple...
Does anyone have an actual estimate as to what percent of the US is vaccinated? Not like a bullshit MSM report, something real.
I'd have to guess around 40%, but that's a stab in the dark.
From what I've seen, online stores are just starting to come down in price, but actual stores are not really budging yet. I saw thunderbolt .22s STILL going for 20 cents a round as of yesterday. Maybe I just shop at the wrong places...
Lots of people are already opting out in a sense. They're not going to kill themselves, that would require being active and taking charge of their situation. What they are doing is nonstop drinking, watching tv, playing Vidya, etc. They've essentially checked out and waiting for the end.
I remember like 10 years ago listening to a VERY far out there conspiracy person talking about how aliens are going to control people via things like WiFi, subliminals through the tv, etc. She said the dumbest will be the most susceptible, and that some will start acting like zombies...
I have a feeling that things will get better for the next two months and then something will make prices jump back up for a bit. Inflation, supply chain issues, gun control shenanigans, the next nwo scheme, something is bound to happen before ammo comes back all the way down.
Just a hunch.
I have 12 acres and a small farm, but otherwise live in suburbia. My Henry is very handy because I can cycle subsonic ammo to kill raccoons, rabbits, squirrels, etc. I'd rather not bother my neighbors if I can help it. It's a nice pest control gun. I love how smooth the action is.
I also have a...
Quick question- what exactly did/would you put in your letter to the judge? I'm assuming I should keep it as brief as possible? I was planning on writing how I've lived in orange county most my life, I plan on taking several handgun courses in order to be a responsible gun owner, and that I'm a...
I stopped by g's shooting sports in orange county. He actually had a decent selection of ammo for the first time in months. Even 38 special. Still pricey tho.
The only place to reliably have ammo in orange county as far as I know seems to be Davis. However Davis is typically 15-20% more...
Alright, I just got this done today. The office actually seemed pretty busy, 3 other people came in while they were working with me. The whole thing took about 20 minutes, most of which was just them walking me through every little thing I have to do for my application. I now have 4 months to do...
I heard that this story was fake. The members on the forum selko posted on found out that there were no air drops of supplies into the area selko said he was at. Maybe I'm wrong. It's still good reading nonetheless
