I shot that Hornady Black ammo yesterday. This stuff was Fantastic bench shooting.. I felt like this $27 box of Ammo had lower recoil and much better accuracy with tighter groups at the 100 yard line compared to a $20 Box of Federal Power Shok .308... I will use that Hornady as my Go to for zeroing.
I agree, the gun manufacturers and ammo companies can make a difference. But I don't trust them much either after what Springfield pulled a few years ago. I won't buy a Springfield either.
I use to drive OTR I am all local now. I got my son full time now. I drive for a local scrap metal yard. I do some short runs to Erie PA now and again but that's only about 2 hours one way 90 miles lol as far as I go
Man I just stopped in Cabelas. .308 is the most scarce ammo on the shelf. Believe it or not this Ammo was amongst the cheapest they had in stock at $27 a box and only 2 box's of it on the self. The polymer tips are sweet too.
Sounds Good, I applied to Border Patrol around last October I am waiting for a polygraph. My only concern is if I pay the money and start the process and then get the job I will be moving. But if I don't get hired they could set me back further on time to get permit. I may as well start the...
Hello, I just read this What is the best way to get a Concealed Carry in Erie County?? I live in Buffalo. And what did it cost to get it??? I had my concealed carry when I lived in Virginia it only took me 2 weeks to get and cost $40.
That sucks. These gun manufacturers are more than capable of designing a new weapon superior to the ones all these liberals want to ban. Most of these weapons are 50+ years old technology. The keep attacking guns and putting bans on cosmetics. Cant have a pistol grip.. Fuck You New York I will...
I've seen the Siaga AKs that have traditional rifle stocks on them and the trigger group moved back so it works with that stock they look really good and not all goofy like some of these rifles they "Convert to Compliant " with these goofy stocks. I don't see why one if those would be illegal
Yea I have a bipod. They had a V on the tabletop I used tho because lack of space I had. It was indoor range with only one little fold down counter and a seat. I definitely need to find a good outdoor range with nice tables for sandbags ect. This 783 really is not a bad gun at all. The trigger...
Yea I asked the guy at the range. He said there is one range that is 75 yards. He said the only 100+ yard ranges are privately owned. So I gotta try to get into one of these clubs. I Did attempt to zero at the 50 yards at the range. Said screw it and went for center. This was 2nd paper. First...
Ok sorry to bother you but this is a new caliber for me and first time using a scope with zoom for me. What is the best way to zero this thing for 100-250 yard zero?. The range I'm about to use is only 25 and 50 yards. Would 50 yards at -1" Or so from target give me an decently accurate zero for...
His laws are unconstitutional. He needs to be voted out. That asshole is trying to run for president next. I wish Trump would destroy him and ruin his career as a criminal.
Could his entire law.be loopholed with say something like this with only 10 rounds on the links??? With a welded Mag well? And maybe a regular kind if rifle stock that has no Pistol grip..( this is a friends from out of state not mine)
I have experience with AACOG scopes which are a bit different. Are these hunting scopes "Dummy Proof" as in if take 3 shots and your grouping is it to the right and south do you read the horizontal dial as " Left" and vertical as "Up" as if you are moving the group to the crosshair? Just asking...
Them slugs can get some reach with a rifled barrel. Some people love hunting with shotgun. I think I enjoy shooting rifles better. I think they are alot more fun to shoot. Just my opinion Don't get me wrong not saying shotguns are NOT fun to shoot if you know what I mean.
I have mostly hunted shotgun because of the laws in the area. Once have hunted rifle with my Winchester lever action 30/30 but was unsuccessful in taking any game.
O yea, me and my Father lost our hunting spot when my grandma decided to sell her farm and property. But I'm in the process of finding somewhere else to hunt. We are thinking of renting a cabin at Allegany this year.
I was looking into aftermarket stuff. These came out in 2013 and there is not much for them. If they made better heavier barrels and different stocks/bolts I'm sure this could be up there with the 700
This thing seems really good for the price. Adjustable Trigger, free float barrel , barrel nut for swapping barrels and head space, the only thing that seems kinda cheap is the stock. The bolt on mine seems super smooth not too much resistances.
