Since the Republican primaries when that fat bastard said he would make it easier to get a permit in NJ, I think a total of 5 people have gotten their permit.
If the brass will ONLY be used in your Tikkai Rifle, then just resize the neck of the brass. No need to full length resize, it only will weaken the brass. It's called Fire Forming.
A word of advice when buying a Red Dot scope. If you can, get a scope that has both Red and Green colors, the green shows up much better than the red in bright light and vice versa.
Thanks guys, I went to Lackawanna site and there is a message that says their version of NY's NICS check is down until 6/12. I guess I'll wait until they are back online.
Make sure you don't have any lube on the neck or shoulder when you resize. After you shoot the rounds, neck size only, no need to full length size the entire cartridge if it will be used in the same gun.
I currently have my Pike County non resident permit which will expire next month and Pike Co. no longer will renew non resident permits. I have been told that Lackawanna Co. will issue non resident permits while you wait but I can't seem to speak to anyone in the permit office. No one ever picks...
Here in Dutchess County, they won't allow you to list any guns when first applying for a permit. Westchester is just the opposite. If granted, the permit is valid until revoked.
The police don't need a warrant to inventory his car after his arrest. When your car is impounded after an arrest, the police have to take an inventory of the vehicle contents.
Wrong, if you are shooting right, rotate the scope knob in the direction of the left arrow which moves the hair to the right, which in turn, moves the point of impact to the left.
The last I have heard, it is a 8-12 month wait for photos and prints. After that is completed, figure 6-8 weeks and you will have your permit.
The 8-12 month was about 6 months ago. Have you had your prints and photos taken yet?
It's up to you that all the required DOT labels are on the box. I'm not sure which one though. I know when you ship ammo, a diamond shaped symbol with the top half shaded out needs to be on the box. Call UPS they will tell you which symbol is required, and get ready to cough up 30 bucks to ship...
I wouldn't think that the fire control in the IV is much different than the III. The Volquartsen kit took me about 20 min to install while following a You Tube vid. 1.75 lb trigger on my Mark III with little or no trigger creep. Fully adjustable trigger.
I call the CSP friday and asked if I could renew now. The very nice lady had asked me if I received my renewal letter, I said no, I just want to beat the increase. She said that in order to renew, you also need the renewal notice from CT SP. Still undecided on what I will do.
You can bet that the proposed increase is buried so deep in the budget and linked to some other program that requires funding. So if it ever came to a line item ya or na, you cant fund one and not pass the other. It's like when the U.S. sends billions of dollars to all these different countries...
A buddy of mine just picked up a Mark IV Hunter for 619.00. The local dealer had two of them in stock. Another dealer that I know had the same Mark IV for sale for 759.00. Full Retail!!
Did anyone happen to catch the show last night? Well Mike and Frank were in upstate NY and came across a rifle. Mike had asked if the lady wanted to sell it and she said yes. OH OH OH, she sold a rifle without going through a dealer. Hmmmmmmm, thought that was a NO NO. For all of you who will...
