I have a box of 1000 Federal #150 Large Pistol primers I‘ll swap.
I also have Large Rifle Magnum primers I’d swap if you need those.
(Winchester WLRM qty 870, and Federal GM215M qty 370)
I’m Looking for large rifle primers… let me know what you have. Prefer a full box of 1000.
I'd buy Dillon. Which press depends on what you want to reload (pistol only? buy a Square deal). Dillon 550 was my choice - you rotate the plate that the rounds sit on by hand from one station to the next. More expensive models auto-index every time you pull the handle, and you buy optional...
These are on Armslist Buffalo but unless you are a paid subscriber you can't get my contact info.
Farewell, Armslist, I used to stop by once in a while.
Anyway, make me an offer. Asking $180, ammo can not included.
Based on the number of rounds, I assume they came from a spam can, but I have no...
Dear Albany: how about making it illegal for pharmaceutical companies to shove $$ at doctors for prescribing medicine? Oh wait, if that happens then they won't push $$ at the legislators, either.
That's the latest "safety-think" from the idiots in Albany.
Based on a google search, seems like they try this every year.
New York lawmakers propose bill to ban gun raffles
Tell the judge every county makes up its own rules, which is the sad truth. Any rules the county makes up is ok, as long as it doesn't conflict with state law... because this is a "may issue" state... another way of saying that is "we can pull your permit any time we like". I soooo want to...
OK, it's a long shot I know. If you have an extra tag that won't get used, PM me please. I have property adjacent to Bully Hill State Forest and didn't get a doe tag this year.
In case you didn't know, in August the DEC announced that hunters could apply for one of over 3000 doe tags that...
Czechpoint-usa.com sells a version of the VZ-58 in 7.62x39 called the Liberty edition, it is NY compliant. Loads with 10-round stripper clips like the good old SKS. It has a machined receiver yet is lighter than an AK. Really a well-made, reliable rifle. They are often out of stock, but if...
I'm reaching back to the 1970s for this one... but my friend's girlfriend was raped. She pressed charges and the perp was in police custody. Cops let her Dad have a few minutes alone with the perp. Let's just say, some parental justice was applied. Legal, no. Did he kill the guy? No. But I...
How does the charge alarm work on the 650?
Does it detect undercharge as well as double-charge? (I know, I could go check out Dillon's site)
And can I get that alarm for my 550B ? Seems like the manual indexing feature makes it more likely that I might eventually wind up with 2x the intended...
Don't know how long it's been there, but I'm sure they have no plans to let you register now - unless it's a there so you can request a visit from your local storm troopers. The unsafe act was very explicit about the deadline for registering, and the penalties for non-compliance.
@Carlos: he meant the Troopers barracks. It moved across the road but it's still there.
@Justin: I've hunted in the town for 25+ years. No firearms ordinance here that I know of.
But let me know if you find otherwise!
My scope sits up too high, I'd like to lower it. If you have a set of rings that are too low, maybe mine would work for you. Just a thought before I go buy another set of rings. Mine will attach to weaver or pic rail. They weren't expensive rings, came with a scope that I bought recently.
Very true. And that means we're worse-off now than in 2015, because the debt goes up and the number of people to spread it over goes down every year. Count me among those who look forward to becoming "ex-New Yorkers".
My expiration date is approaching. I assume I need to show up there in person, like I did for the original permit. Someone who has been there / done that can you confirm this?
I figure they still need to open every envelope, look at their database to see if I've registered already, and maybe even see if the data on the form matches what's on Big Brother's computer. And in the process of sticking it to "the man", it gets paid for out of my pocket, too. It's the...
I mailed my form in back in November. Last week my online status was still "not recertified" so I went and did it online too. Obviously they aren't putting too much effort into the mailed-in forms.
This bill would limit your ability to have your day in court if someone decides you're an "extreme risk".
The bill of rights keeps disappearing here, bit by bit.
Google NY ERPO
What about the man with a rifle who stopped the killer in Texas?
Your teacher would like that man to be stripped of his ability to defend himself, his family, and his neighbors.
I have to say your teacher is a fool, but I think you feel the same way.
You can even ship to yourself - like if you're traveling to another state and don't want the hassle at the airport. Ship it to yourself, c/o friend in the other state. It's legal as long as you're the one opening the package at the other end.
The xds recall was because some were going full auto. Nothing about trigger pull.
Like others, I put a PRP spring kit in my XDS 45, and had to go back to the original striker spring when I had misfires due to light hits. I've switched to 185gr bullets to make it more pleasant to shoot. The...
Job #1: replace the crappy plastic permit printing machine they use. I think it runs on disappearing ink. I have a FL permit and a PA permit and somehow those survive for years without the print disappearing. Erie County permits? Not so much. Or maybe I'm just not buying new handguns...
Just like healthcare. The people with the best (free) coverage available get to decide what coverage the rest of us can have. More of the same. At some point they need to live as "equals" with the rest of us. Not that I expect to live to see it.
Anything that keeps him out of Albany is good as far as I'm concerned. Less time to be twisting arms and making up new laws to keep us "safer".
Not that I want people hurt to get him outta there.
This thread brings back fond memories of the Enfield I had in .303 British. We were made for each other, LOL. That thing would turn the pigs inside out. Never needed a second shot. But we're going back to the days when I was very good with iron sights. Now I'd be missing them with that...
